We went earl morning (7am) on a weekday and had the whole place to ourselves. We were able to skinny dip and enjoy the beautiful and magical place. We were only able to find one spot that was particular warm, the other spots were cooler...More

We spent a day in this beautiful place in Tuscany! Nice Hotspurs! Didn't rain so much during the season but there was still water. It's possible to have a picnic and lay on the ground.

They say it can be crowded here. Luckily it was not when we were here. Beginning of may, expected thunderstorm later that day, early in the morning. There was nobody. We walked, took pictures and had the warm, nice pools all to ourselves. It's beautiful...More

We found this place on TripAdvisor. It was so interesting. We hiked around a bit then slipped into our swimwear and soaked for a couple of hours while talking to locals. There is not restroom or changing area. It can be muddy and slippery! Bring...More

This place is so worth the trip! Natural hot springs filled with minerals that are so good for your skin. It's hot just like a bath and the surrounding scenery is beautiful! We did not see the other hot springs in the area to compare...More

We rented an apartment for 1 week and avoided the baths on the weekend because MANY people come- I mean families with kids, dogs, etc. Noisy. If you want to have a peaceful experience you need to go early midweek. Ahhhh....

This was a very interesting natural feature in Tuscany. It's a nice break from the sightseeing in medieval towns and far from the tourist bustle. It is not difficult to find, if you have a car. We had a nice dip on a cold winter...More

We went here in August 2016. It was something I had found on Pinterest and really wanted to visit. Quite a drive from where we were from (Tuscany 1.5 hours), but worth it in the end (hint - use satnav). You can park nearby and...More

This is a secluded spot with natural hot water and a beautiful scenery. If you are in Tuscany and want to relax for a bit, take a detour and go there for an hour or so. It is definitely worth it.

It's worth the detour. Fosso Bianco is a beautiful hot spring located in the mountains of Tuscany. A great place for a dip or to take some photos. I wasn't brave enough to enter the water because it was below freezing the day I visited,...More

To confirm, there are no tours in October? My husband and I will be in Florence in October 17-22, and really want to experience a thermal spring in Tuscany, preferrably outdoors in a natural park setting. We are nervous to rent a car and possibly get lost. A tour is pretty hassle-free. Any advice is appreciated. Sincerely, Kim Baltzer Nova Scotia Canada

Kim, There are many hot springs throughout Tuscany, even closer to Florence than San Filippo. Many of them are based at hotels or are dedicated bathing facilities, as opposed to the Fosso Bianco at San Filippo which is the... More
