Beautifully located on the edge of the Piazza reppublica. Worth walking around, not worth entering. The views around it are beautiful.

Italy surely has castles with far more interesting stories. But, if you made all the way to Rizzo, and the the piazza della republicca, the castle will provide you with a great view of the sea shore (with the obligatory local 18th century story).

Well worth a visit. Cheap entry tickets (I cannot remember exactly). You can visit the old dungeon/castle with displays of armours and arms. Fantastic view from top.

It is one from three points in Pizzo to value to see. Second is cave by see and third are restaurants there :-) This Castello is paid but the view to see from it is very nice.

A small castle, half an hour for a visit, to re-live the story of the execution of Murat. Well suited and interesting for children, ticket not too expensive, nice location - what's not to like? Besides, 20mt up there's the best ice cream in the...More

While not large the Castle has well presented displays,in English, about its history including lots of information about Joachim Murat,a brother in law of Bonaparte, who was executed here.Period costumes on the mannequins are interesting.

Well kept fortification with the recreation of Marat's trial. The rooms are well explained and this is a suitable place for children. The small castle is in the centre of town and is well kept. The entrance is reasonable and not expensive.

This is a small museum in the city center. If you visit it, you will understand better the history of Italy. The museum was thoughtfully done and it is worth a visit.

This castle is worth a look when in Pisso. A well maintained place of interest that had, for me, an unknown historical connection with Napoleon
