The overall experience of the campsite was average. Should install more washrooms, a shower stall is nice to have, and faucets.

Beautiful little lake to hike and camp near. Not sure about swimming..I would rather swim in Georgian Bay. We saw a lot of leaches and water snakes.

They set up an admission schedule (every 4hrs) which seems practical and prevents over crowding the place

Great for the photographer, the birder and the hiker. Multiple trails from easy to very difficult so pay attention to which one you might choose.

If you're visiting the Bruce Peninsula, make sure you go to the Cyprus Lake area of the National Park to visit the lakeside Grotto and adjacent Indian's Head Cove. There's a level walk from the car park but the final 200 yards are over rocky...More

Another beautiful spot along Georgian Bay to go for a hike. Bring good hiking shoes as you will need them. Kids and adults both loved the trails.

From Cyprus Lake you can also easily access the Bruce Trail; while camping there my wife & I got dropped off by car near the start of the trail near Tobermory, and walked on pleasant wooded paths, and then stony beaches... More
