About 0.5km from the hotel we stayed. As usual many jemaah are old people and a few children following their parents. At 5.40am is great if children can be awake.
After morning pray @ Fajr Prayer there is Tazkirah @ Reflection in daily life for an hour.

This mosque is located at the heart of Sungai Petani township. Its green paint is chosen because it symbolizes Islam.

This mosque is for Muslim to perform their daily prayers and it is also used for religious teachings and other related matters.

In general, the non-Muslims can visit the mosque provided that they respect this place of worship and dress appropriately covering certain parts of the body.

Modern mosques not only function as place of worship but they also house Islamic school, place to pay zakat (tithe), a place to solemnize a marriage, library and many more.

Please pay a visit to this mosque as it can help to deepen your understanding of Islam and also the Malays in Malaysia.
