Taiping residents should be very proud that they have a very nice museum in their town. The exhibits are more than adequate and presentation is commendable, especially the wildlife section. There's possibly the largest collection of animals in a museum, safe the National Museum in...More

It's well maintained but exhibits are really limited. There are not much information provided for reading. Overall, it's a little boring for me as there weren't much to see.

Came by to see what is there. Small museum. Not many things to see. Well kept and clean. Very quiet. You can visit with your loved ones for some quiet time.

Visited this place because of 2D exhibition. Not so much on history of Perak or Taiping, but generally on Malaysia like traditional cloths, games & foods; old cars; and animals. Fun place to enjoy it with your family and small kids.

Nothing much exhibited here, more about the local culture. The building itself is a very histrorical colonial building, well-preserved. We just spent about 1/2 hour here. The museum is in town and within walking distance to other heritage trail spots.
