Tucked between a rock wall and a hillside, deep inside a dense forest, gushes La Source. A place to relax, away from the bustle of daily life – surprising, and different.La Source Bains nordiques is located in Rawdon, in the Lanaudière region. Its eco-modern architecture was inspired by the bare rock of Mont Pontbriand, thus allowing us into the heart of the mountain.

My best pick for nordic baths in Quebec!

The first time I went there was in 2008 and every other time that I went, I was always more than satisfied! I've tried quite a lot of Nordic spas in Quebec and I can definitely say that this one is the best of all. The location is easily accessible from Montreal, it is set up in the forest, you... More

Amazing visit, however my bathrobe was stolen from outside the first hot tub. This happened at 7:45 pm. I went to the front desk hoping that someone took it by mistake. It was not to be found. My key was in the pocket but luckily it was a mans bathrobe so if they went to steal my things they could... More

Have been here a few times, always nice. You should defiantly go in winter for the best "wow" factor. We went for our wedding anniversary for a couples massage. It was perfect. The rooms are quiet and relaxing. As a bonus there are private shower rooms just beside the rooms for after, if needed.

We planned our trip to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. It was fabulous from beginning to end. We arrived around 11am. The parking lot was full and construction was going on at the entrance. This worried us. Once in the spa area we never heard a sound. Seeing the parking lot full we were also worried that it would not... More

I went to Spa La Source twice in my life. The first time I went was last December, I paid about $500+ for 2 "Distinction Signature Packages" (access to Nordic Baths, 90-minute Signature massage, meal and appetizer or dessert, cocktail, bathrobe rental and La Source gift). My massage was scheduled at 4pm and I arrived at 3:30pm. It was a... More

Have been going here for years and have watched it grow and improve. A bit crowded on weekends so try to go on a weekday. Great outdoor areas, augmented by excellent indoor areas. Spoil yourself with one of the packages (about $150 Canadian) that includes access to spa, massage, and lunch. Go one step further and have a massage in... More

If I could give it six stars I would. We are in our anniversary trip to the Gaspé, and are spending our first night in the area. Oh my, was this wonderful. The staff were very helpful, speaking to us in English. The place is so beautifully built into the mountain. Everything feels deluxe. I see that some people aren't... More

La Source is nestled on a hillside just outside Rawdon, QC. About one north of Montreal, it is close to the city but gives the impression of being in the middle of the woods. Hot and cold baths, Turkish and dry saunas, and a dark floating room await you. A relaxing hike up the hill provides a nice jaunt through... More
