So steeped in the very interesting history of saint Birgitta. A must but get a guide. We walked around ourselves and it felt as it there was a lot of information we missed. The place is huge for a little country town.

Unfortunately, I was there before the season, so did not find it open. Still went around the kloster, and it looks impressive!

The Vadstena Church is not to be missed as it is both beautiful and historic. The exterior and interior is certainly one for architecture lovers, but others with an eye for beauty will also be pleased.

This is an impressive place with a great history of St. Bridget (1303 - 1373). It is most helpful to have a guide to add to the significance of all of the artifacts and grave stones in the floor.

Tasteful and airy church - obviously used for many different services and uses as interior has multiple orientation and "clusters of activities"

This is a must see for those who are architectural students, church history buffs, and those who are just looking for millennial old building tourists. It has much to see and often has tours. Put on your list of to dos if in Sweden.

If you interested in travelling back in time to a place that is both beautiful and peaceful, look no further. I attended both St.Lucia and Christmas Eve festivities/mass here and was in awe of the serenity that could be felt. So lovely.

Nice historic site with a lot of graves litterly under your feet! Odd-shaped church, wider that long.

The church was opened since 8 a.m. when we visited. There were no tickets and it takes at least 30 minutes if you do not want to rash. It depends what you are interested in. For me just sitting there in silence was an... More
