Great place to know more about the vietnamese culture & diversified ethnies in the country. In the museum you can see lots of genuine pictures from locals, tipical clothes, handicrafts.. and learn a lot about each minority rituals and specificities.

It is definitely worth visiting. Even if it can not compare with ethnic museums in Europe it gives you a nice impression of the native inhabitants of the Central Highlands of Vietnam. Good to be combined with a visit in an ethnic village in Dak Lak.

The Ethnographic Museum is one of the best museums in Hanoi. While the interior exhibits that recount the history of various ethnic groups in Vietnam is interesting, the real highlight is outside. In the garden are several full-scale replicas of housing structures from different ethnic groups across Vietnam. It's a great way to see how certain ethnic groups live, and... More

It's located in the town center so it won't take much time to visit there. This museum is super spacious compared with other museums in Vietnam that I've ever visisted. We didn't have much time so we chose to visit the cultural secsion which is the most interesting part to my mind. The exhibition is smart, organized, creative and informative.... More

I came here with my company trip. 70 people. The building is designed like a longhouse and nestled in a garden of camphor trees. It is a little run down and has a 1960s feel to it. Our tour guide was good. She was very knowledgable and kept us going so it was not boring. It is physically a big... More

A lot of movies about ethnies lifestyle. Fast to visit so its not too boring. I advise to visit the cultural part which is most interesting out of 3. However do not spend time here if you stay less than 3 days in buan ma thuot.

History of various hill tribes plus every museum in vn portrays...the war against foreign governments. A few exhibits of booby traps, parts of military arsenals, wild animals, herbs commonly found in the jungle, etc. 20k entrance fee. Surprisingly i spent more than 30 mins at this place.
