Arrived at 12.30 on a Friday afternoon. Told they had no diet cola as there had been none delivered. Ordered a sharing platter which took half an hour but was very pleasant. I... read more

I located the Prince of Wales as it was central to our office and our clients , I don't usually write reviews, but because of the great service I just thought I would share this pub to all , from the moment I walked through the door I was greated by a very friendly and helpful member of staff( Her... My grandparents like coming here because it's close for them but my generation and my parents always beg them if we can go somewhere else to eat. This pub is incapable of serving a table of more than two guests without making a mess of it. Christmas lunch last year was an absolute embarrassment-we all had to pre order and... More

I've been here quite a few times on a trip over to Esher. There are some nice walks around the area and a great garden centre down the road, so the pub is in a handy location if this is what you enjoy! As a vegetarian, I'm pretty impressed with the different options available. The pub is large and has... More

Arrived at 12.30 on a Friday afternoon. Told they had no diet cola as there had been none delivered. Ordered a sharing platter which took half an hour but was very pleasant. I then ordered a coffee and was told there was no coffee, not even instant coffee, as no one had cleaned the machine the night before. Waited another... More

We saw the chef & brewer sign so we decided to stop, that's where it started to go wrong. When you go in and you see that the interior is painted grey that gives you a clue. The seats are the old fashioned wooden type that your behind goes numb long before the food arrives. When our food arrived we... More

Very busy and popular on a week day. Young, pleasant staff very considerant. Good menu choices not value pub grub, good quality, well presented food. Seperate evening menu. Clean cozy interior and lovely outside dinning area too.

I really do not think that expecting customers to sit on a hard kitchen chair is acceptable with the competition that is in the area. My wife had a chicken dish that was hard and overcooked, My choice was much better and very tasty hot and well presented. It is a shame that the charming and enthusiastic young lady that... More

Waited far too long for food, staff were poorly organised and seemingly privileged, however some were friendly. When food finally did come, I honestly wouldn't have payed three quid for it, let alone eight! The beer was less than fantastic as well, but again the price was far higher than the quality. Unfortunately, just another pub that feels the need... More

We visited with quite a large group on a Saturday and despite booking, they found space for us outside. The food was very good but let down by service. Absolutely no sense in how food is brought out; party that ordered after us had received their food and eaten it before ours arrived. The staff were pretty ambivalent as well.... More
