We walked through this area and were stunned by the beauty, even though it was a working mine at one time. Our guides were able to give us a good explanation of how the operation worked, and what the various colours of soil represented.

In this parc in the Luberon region you can see a variety of colours inbetween a beautiful landscape. You have the choice between a longer roundwalk and a shorter one. The short one is approximately 2 km and the long walk is about 4 km....More

This little trip (1~3h) is very satisfying.. The colors are beautiful and the shapes unexpected.. To do ! The price is very reasonable to protect this place (5€ per car)

This was a great hit with our 3 kids of 11, 10 and 5! Get there early! We paid €5 at entrance to car park, and were provided a map. We were there just after 8am and the car park was empty. You can get...More

Had gone to roussillon prior to this disappointing outing. The trails are poorly marked not nearly the beauty of the Ochres of Rousillon, Much more of a difficult hike , and less rewarding.

Very much worth the visit. The blue route is fairly easy but the orange one much more demanding but also more rewarding. The car park is good (with picnic tables - you don't want to carry too much with you, though you will need plenty...More

If you're going to be in the Roussillon area, drive over to this park for even more of the same, but more accessible. You'll need 1 hour for the smallest walk and 2+ for the longer one. The park is free but a gate keeper...More

This place is one of the reasons why I fell in love with the Vaucluse. The scent, the bright air and the terrific colours. An absolute must-see! And in my opinion much better (and less busy) than Roussilion. Tip: if you pass the 3 walkingroutes...More

The Colorado provencal makes for a relatively short but beautiful walk - in fact there are two options, a short walk (one hour or so including photo stops, and twice as much). Fairly crowded.

Nice walk through the woods and ocre scenery. Fortunately the weather was not so good since I can imagine it will be rather hot in the sun.

I am not sure if you will get this in time, but the access would be difficult with a wheelchair - there are no proper paths - just dirt.
What hours is this open? I can't find this information in English. Thank you

It is open all the time - there really isn't any tourist structures around the walk.
