We visited a friend who lives nearby so we decided to check out the lake. We were not disappointed and arrived just when there was some hot but friendly competition going on. We just soaked in the atmosphere of that beautiful day.

Love cycling around the lake. It's a good way to build up distance with each lap being 5 KM. There are so many birds, dragonflies and butterflies, as well a great view of the hills. It's very peaceful and beautiful.

We were here for a national event. Easy access, parking and great facilities - toilets. There is also quite a bit of shade and grass near the buildings.

What a great place to take the family. Shade, bbq areas and plenty to do. Aside from watching events, there is a bike path that goes around the whole facility- approx 5kms? Well worth a day out

Watch out for snakes in summer The beach is lovely, however I would not recommend you put your mouth under water. Great for a kayak too. Lovely stroll around the lake.
