On the Caribbean side so flat and a lovely walk, then pop round to Maundays Bay for a swim in a beautiful horseshoe bay (next to one another). Lots of shells at the far end by the jetty. Smokey's is a nice lunch spot and there's an Aqua park in the sea. Very calm waters. Horse riding the beach here... More

While this is not the prettiest, or calmest bay on the island, take the time to walk the west end of the beach away from the construction and the inflatables. The point between Cove Bay and Maunday's Bay is a very rough but beautiful walk. You will want tennis shoes. Yes there is seaweed, but if you're in the area,... More

We went to Smokeys and loved the restaurant. The beach is okay, it had a lot of seaweed but was very nice. loved watching the kids play on the water park.

I had hoped to walk from Maundays Beach to Cove Beach to Rendezvous Bay Beach but alas, there were some (highly and understandably) territorial Mama Birds guarding some beach side nests, mid-point beach so I couldn't do as originally intended. It is a beautiful beach, albeit rockier than those it flanks.

A lot of rocks and seaweed. It's nice, but if you have been around this island you will see what I'm talking about. The competition is stiff. Other beaches like Meads Bay and Rendezvous Bay put this bay to shame. There is a Aqua Park for the kids off the beach. Didn't look too fun, but if you have kids... More

This beach is always nice. Unfortunately the rain that occurred this year kept us from enjoying it but there is always next year. You can either rent chairs or find your own piece to relax on this beach.

We visited this beach on a horse ride and will say that it appeared to be very popular as a new floating waterpark has been installed recently ($50/person/day). On the windy side of the island it tends to have a lot of seaweed on the beach so it is not our favorite beach on the island but still nice. Worth... More

We took a sailboat from St. Maarten over to Cove Bay, and let me tell you this beach is incredible. From the soft, smooth white sand to the crystal clear waters. You won't even find a pebble on this beautiful beach. There is one restaurant on the beach and that is all. Very quiet, with calm waters. Did not see... More

With only Smokey's on the Cove and a dock at one end, the rest of the beach is wild and deserted. Have lunch and Smokey's and enjoy a nice swim and/or stroll. It's usually pretty well protected so the swimming can be very nice and the beach isn't as steep as the north side making it a nice place to... More

First of all, let me state that I have been to Anguilla several times and have found it to be a beautiful island. But Cove Bay was knee deep in nasty smelling, mucky sea weed this past October. It went about 6-8 feet from the beach into the water. Trust me, you did not want to go to the water... More
