Lovely gardens, ideal for a walk! They were designed and laid out by Charles-Alexis de Montpellier in the 18th century. The gardens combine three styles: French, Italian and English. There is also a castle, but it’s not possible to visit it.

We've visited the gardens last week on a sunny day. There weren't a lot of other visitors so all was very relaxed and quiet. The gardens are a delight to see, The landscaping is more important than the collection of plants and flowers.

I prefer to give more than less but 3,5 would be more appropriate. It's nice to visit if you are around or pass by but I wouldn't recommend to go 50km just to see it. Unless you love to relax hearing water all around you...More
