This is a wonderful hidden surprise. We visited on our way home after a camping holiday after finding it on trip advisor. We were sceptical when driving up the single track road but so glad we decided to continue as it's such a beautiful place....More

Thank you so much for your lovely review!! It's always great when people are so enthusiastic. It is difficult to explain the place to people, especially when they just turn off the road on a whim and think they have ended up at a private...More

Visited these 'hidden' gardens this week. The signs lead you up a single track road with few passing places. There seems to be some confusion as to the days it is closed. Web sites state Tues and Wed, but a pencilled notice also mentioned Mondays....More

I'd seen the signs for this place many times, so decided to take a look one Sunday afternoon. The gardens were just seeing out the last azaleas and rhododendrons, and were still full of colour. The setting is amazing and the cafe had a great...More

Unkempt - I know a wildkife garden when I see one but this was un-cared for, shabby and I believe some of the facilities for children looked very unsafe. As for the fact that pets are welcome ? They may be by the owners but...More

That's a pity, it happens very occasionally but it is bound to. When you are open to all comers it will not suit some. I'm inclined to agree that we have rather lost control of the weeds at this stage of the year but it...More
