I have been there many times. It is a 700-year-old mosque and tomb next to a 2000-year-old tree. It has a 20m minaret and inside is very mysterious. Highly recommended for a tour past Abyaneh on the way from Kashan to Isfahan.

Sheikh abdolsamad Natanzi was a theosophist buried in Natanz and his mausoleum was built by Teymurid rulers. The very shinny blue tiles make a spectecular and impressive view. Check my photos in instagram, un_focus

We stopped off here for 40 minutes or so, it is a very pleasant place in a small village. The mosaics are quite stunning and some seem to be 3D and are very intricate indeed. Small garden next to the site which was well laid...More

The small town of Natanz deserves the visit because of this mosque. A very old one, one the earliest mosque even. The beautiful portal of the former madrassa is the master piece of this mosque. Beautiful one. It alone deserves the visit. The mosque itself...More

It is a must see for Natanz. Plan your visit in the morning of summer time. It takes almost 30 min to see every corner.

It is different from any other mosque that we visited, the architecture in unsual and the interior not so decorated. If you come from Esfahan, well, it's kind of a disappointment. You'd better skip this in favour of more time spent in Abyaneh, much more...More

Sheikh Abdussamad Esfahani died in Natanz in 1299 and this beautiful, small mosque was built in his honour early in the 14th century. The frieze is from 1308 and was formerly part of another religious cbuilding. The mosque is special in design, with its different...More

Iranian Islamic mosque with beautiful architecture. Located in the heart of Natanz, very beautiful and tall towers. A great place to visit and breathing a lovely old culture.
