This is an English Heritage site, but entry is free. There are no services at this site. It is a well preserved example of an old abbey site and worth a visit if you are in the area.

Six of our family chose to meet at the old Abbey for a birthday picnic as we're all English Heritage members and it was almost equidistant from our 2 homes. Both parties still had to travel 1 and a 1/2 hours to get there. When...More

We picnic here several times throughout the summer over the past six years and attend the yearly Lamberhurst Music feasible held here. Wonderful tranquil place to visit and dog friendly on a lead.

A nice place to go out for a family picnic and to explore the old stones on a sunny day, the place is not crowded at any time. It's a NAtional Heritage place, so the parking and entrance are free for the members.
