Pretty waterfall

Nice place to visit and not far from the town centre, The trail up to the waterfall is easy so everyone can do it.

Bring sneakers!! It was a pretty tough hike but we did it with 3 kiddos, one in a baby carrier and the other 8 and 10. Totally worth the hike!!

The water is very cold this time of the year which makes it a great place to challenge yourself to enjoy the view, dipping into the waterfall *for a view minutes* jajajajaja

Part of what we love about the Dominican Republic is that there aren't hundreds of tourists everywhere but these falls definitely cater to them and draw them in. Walking across the bridges to reach the falls is fun though and they are definitely impressive and powerful...so I think it's worth the visit but check out some others as well!

"Uno" is more developed for tourists, closer to Jarabacoa. It has lovely hanging bridges on a short path over the river leading to the waterfall. The waterfall... More

We took a local taxi to the waterfall and paid a small entrance fee (around 50 or 100 pesos). It was a short walk over the hanging bridges to the waterfall and took about 30 m inutes to visit. We both liked it a lot and if you have a few hours to do nothing at Jarabacoa I would really... More

It is worth stopping by if you are in the area but definitely not something you need to go out of your way to see. If you like hiking and a lot of walking you will enjoy that part. The waterfall itself is not that impressive however, and sometimes not very clean.

It was a great walk into nature. Specially liked the hanging bridges and the cleanliness of the place. Great place to visit with the family and to enjoy a peaceful moment too.
