This place is steeped in mystery. See the tunnel Sauniere dug under the magdala tower. Follow the story of the history of Rennes and mystery behind the money spent here.

Given the view you can see of the surrounding valley, I can see why someone wants to build this tower. It was a beautiful structure and very nice to see if you have read the story about Sauniere.

It was the Abbé Sauniere's retreat - a small library where he used to work. Can be visited very quickly.
