This is a beach with a car park and several restaurants. But beware, it is very windy and the water is cold.

Lovely beach for kids, not too busy when we were there midday till about 4. Got busier later. Lots of rock pools. And safe sea to splash around in.

The beach was pleasant enough with a diving platform and toilet facilities but as our visit was a couple of days outside holiday season the beach cafes were all closed.

on a recent visit to the morlaix region we decided to visit the above area having missed it on regular visits to irland & england via roscoff - easy to bypass but a worthy destination itself -beaitiful beaches with great places to eat and or drink facint the sea BUT sheltered from onshore winds bi a glass screen.

After arriving to Roscoff at 7am we decided to drive to Carantec for a breakfast picnic on the beach. We had a nice walk around the village, where everything at this time of the day was shut and quiet - beautiful and we settled on the beach for a picnic. The sun was raising, the sea was calm - it... Visited this area shortly after New Year in the evening. Went back the next day for the local sea food but could not believe the sea view!!! Stunning.
