the Dragon tree is well worth a visit, you don't need to pay to go round the site to see the tree, as its best viewed from the terrace by the church, where you can also buy reasonable prices drinks and snacks.

Worth viewing from the terrace above. Great looking tree. The terrace enables quick access for a short walk around the shops and bars.

The beautiful dragon tree is visible from the outside of the park and there is nothing interesting in the park except for a few ducks. The entrance fee (5 Euros) can be seen as a donation though to protect this human heritage. If you are...More

The tree itself is impressive. Definitely worth a trip to see it but... you are better off seeing it from the distance - to appreciate the beauty of it. Don't think it's worth actually paying the fee to enter the garden.

Visited Parque Del Drago today, the tree was absolutely gorgeous! Stunning. But it basically in someone's back garden. No information in the square where you stand to take photos of the tree but if you go down on to the street you can go in...More

Just a dragon tree... but it's huge and definitely worth to see! Easy to find on maps and drive. You can't get close touch or something, but you don't feel how much time you've spent watching it :) I strongly recommend and will drive to...More

You can see this impressive plant , it's not a tree even though it's called a dragon tree from the square opposite. Go up the stairs by the public toilets and round the side of the building to view the Dragon Tree. It's pretty old...More

We went in June to visit El Drago and after that, we planned to go to Los Cristianos. We booked a car and the road to the place was pretty difficult even for experienced drivers (stretched road, abrupt uphills etc..) but after 40 minutes of...More

I went to look at what plants could grow locally but the paths were difficult to navigate with a pushchair, the labelling wasn't very clear and I had to carry the pushchair up a flight of stairs to get out

You can see the Dragon perfectly from the square in front of San Marcos church. There is no need whatsoever to pay the entrance fee to the park. The tree is definitely impressive, but nothing that justifies a big detour.
