Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand. While I was out for shopping in December, There were many mini vans passing by with a boxing ring mounted on it and 2 people keep shouting and hitting each other lightly. They were advertising for the...More

A must see even when in Thailand. I was not a fan but by the time I left I was a complete fan of the sport. Drinks are cheap and watching the sport was amazing. Have been back twice.

We had a great night out at the boxing, though not as cheap as it used to be, 2000 THB for ringside seats (About 80 AUD).

Overall an enjoyable way to spend a night. The stadium is a lot bigger than most in Thailand and so you have plenty of room. We bought the cheapest tickets which meant we were sat on wooden benches - the view was really good but...More

It was so cool to see MuayThai with the ringside seats but be prepared to sweat because there is no moving air at all inside the stadium. It was like being in a sauna that smelled like moth balls but all 6 of the fights...More

I found this place very boring and overpriced. They advertise a lot with cars constantly driving up and down the main road blasting advertisement and then they have hundreads of people bothering you with their leaflets. It seems they pay all their money on advertising...More

Paid 1500baht for standard seating which was just as great I thought, 2000baht will get you seating with a table and a chair, 2500baht gets you elevated comfy leather chairs and drink service, I’ve been 2 times before and VIP seats are ok, but standard...More

We vacation in Samui every year. We went to the Boxing stadium ones. Very overrated, we were expecting Thai boxing, instead it was a show of kids trying their best.... There is a better way to spend $25.00 per person

Hi Marcel, Yes there are two stadiums at Chaweng, I went to the one close to the Ark bar near the beach. The other stadium is further away from the beach area, so i can't comment on that. The ticket cost was, as I remember... More

You can book in advance, although we arrived on the night and got tickets easily. It may be a good idea to check if it's a popular night though, just incase the tickets sell out. As the stadium isn't huge.
