The temple is small and nice. This is not the best in Korea but it is worthy to visit. Probably it had better to visit Daegu's temple as far that one is much better and close.

Bogyeongsa has a beautiful hiking trail, with 12 waterfalls...if you go when there's been enough rain. When I was here last time I only saw one. However, it is still gorgeous and also totally free, but I would recommend going after heavy rain if possible...More

It is a rather easy walk, you can turn around whenever you feel tired. The walk is actually about 3H long for a fast walker with about 450m of positive altitude increase. I did in winter, but must be nicer in spring or summer.

I absolutely loved this place. The temple is a large complex, but it looks like most others. This is not why I went though. I went for the Moutain hike to the waterfalls. 12 falls in total and I made it to 8 of them....More

This is one of the most beautiful hikes in Korea with several waterfalls. It is a little tricky to get to though so make sure you check out the return bus schedule.

To reach the area from Pohang is easy, if you catch one of the direct buses (nr 510) that leave from city centrum. I took the one passing by Intercity Bus Terminal at 9.25 am and I got at temple stop (last stop) around 10.45....More

The temple is easy to get to from Pohang - watch out for the typo in the Lonely Planet guide to Korea that might direct you to the wrong bus. Once at the temple, make sure you use the toilets and don't get caught out...More

The bus from Pohang took about an hour and was very cheap to use. We caught it opposite the shiway bus station near Home Plus. The temple itself is beautiful and peaceful. Really great to walk around. The hut signed "Information" had, as we had...More
