I lived in Jersey before, and never visited this church. This time I wanted to be sure I didnt miss it. What to say!!! Jersey it is a beautiful place full of activities and great shops, but a place like this should be not missed. Outside a rather plain building with some Art decor features, once you put your foot... Worth 10 minutes but I'm afraid the building left me cold. It seemed very clinical. If you wish to visit catch the no.15 bus from St. Helier (every 15 mins) and get off at St.Matthews church.

We visited the Glass Church on a sunny afternoon - after having visited many larger churches this contrasts with stained glass windows and wooden furnishings. Very much depends on your personal tastes so I'll leave it to others to make up their own minds. Certainly worth a look ................

As a fan of Lalique's work this was heaven. The church is so serene and peaceful. Buy one of the printed guidebooks at the door (£2) to fully enjoy the experience and help with the church's upkeep. Well worth the 30 minutes to an hour that we spent there. This place is truly unique.

We'd read about the glass church and thought that it sounded really interesting. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but inside is stunning. Beautifully lit up to show the Lalique glass to full effect, it is very different although small. There is parking outside that is shared with a local park that I think needs to be paid... More

My wife and I missed this on our last visit to Jersey, so we made sure that we visited it this time. This church -St Mathews has windows and an altar made in glass by the French glass maker (Laleac ?) - appologies if spelt wrong. Worth a visit just to wonder at the glass structures etc.

The church is beautiful and peaceful but is a lot smaller than I had anticipated. The glasswork is very impressive. Only stayed for about 10mins. The adjacent Coronation Park is lovely

The church has some stunning examples of Lalique glass. It is beautiful serene beautiful building and a great place to have a few moments of quiet contemplation. Although it is a great place to visit I would not class it as the kind of place you go out of your way to see. Well worth visiting if its on your... More
