The 4th Line Theatre is the product of Robert Winslow who uses a farm, that has been in the family for many generations, to stage the plays. He has been the main play writer, organizer and director but is handing over many of the tasks of putting on plays. The plays focus on local history. He has used many volunteers... More

Discovered 4TH Line Theatre about 6 summers ago. Local lore in the form of live theatre. A unique and pleasant experience from the drive to the excellent food or bring your own to the outdoor seating. New cushions this year. The barn and surrounding fields become actors.A lovely way to spend a summer evening with friends. Very original.

A pleasant theatre in a beautiful setting. Theatre wasn't well set up for kids but we were aware ahead of time and it worked out well for us. The seating was open air so come dressed for the weather conditions.

Have enjoyed many performances in the past and always enjoyable and entertaining. Thought and research goes into the local stories portrayed. Highly recommend for a fun evening.

Excellent production! Fresh air theatre on a gorgeous summer evening. Part of audience sheltered by rooftop - chairs for all (with cushions). Will definitely return another summer. Actors, stage hands and production staff do excellent jobs ... based on true, local events!

This outdoor theatre uses a former barn as the stage background, and it is surrounded by rolling treed hills. Barn swallows make their way across one's line of sight throughout the performance as the sun dips in the sky changing the lighting naturally. Comfortable cushions are provided to place on the plastic chairs, and one can see and hear well... More

This is an outdoor theatre but most seats are in a covered roof area. We arrived at 4 pm and brought a picnic lunch. The venue also does supply burgers etc if you wish to buy dinner. We bought a bottle of wine for $20.00 which is very reasonable. Restrooms are Johnny on the Spots but there were clean and... More

Having lived in the area for decades this was our first trip to the 4th Line (The Hero of Hunter Street). The evening started just after 4:0 PM with a picnic lunch we prepared at home. Lunches can only be ordered in advance. The facilities for the before theatre meal is clean and laid out in a pleasing manner. We... More

Have been attending live plays at 4th Line Theatre for 15 years and it is the ultimate theatre experience! Theatre is outdoors in a farm setting with rolling hills in the distance. Plays are about true historical events of the Millbrook area. Including Havelock, Peterborough and the surrounding area. The casts are made up of local and professional talent. Picnic... More
