I never knew the history of Loyalists settling the Bahamas. The artifacts of colonial and ancient Indian were educational.

The museum gives an authentic view of island life over the past 300 years. Nostalgic artefacts and well laud out exhibits.

This was a great way to learn about Elbow Cay, history of the Abacos, and way of life from a time gone by. I recommend taking the time to visit.

Hope Town was founded by British loyalists leaving South Carolina after the U.S. Revolutionary War. The museum gives a nice overview of early island life.

So sorry we missed you, hopefully next time you will come by, a little earlier in the day and we'd be happy to accommodate you. Please keep in mind that when there is no volunteer the people in the gift store next door do fill in for us. More
