Old monasterio, partly closed due to renovations. The inner court is great and you can make some great photo's if you like.

The monesterio is currently closed for renovation so we were a little disappointed as we were hoping for a return visit... The fuente del vino was still there however, with a rather better red wine than the rose that we had previously sampled... There is also a new Aire in the village for motor homes at a very reasonable cost of €4....

On the Camino, this winery of Bodega Irache is famous for its Fuente de Vino (wine fountain). Pilgrims can stop here and pour themselves from a spigot a glass (or shell-full or mouth-full) of so-so wine. It’s kind of a ritual fo pilgrims.

Do you like to step back in time? This will do it for you, from the soaring vaults, the alabaster windows, incredible cloister, and the stunning sculpture. We were lucky enough to catch a concert, mostly a capella-the sound was remarkable.This place has interpretive signs so you don't miss any of the medieval cool stuff. It is right on the Camino.
