Levi is located in the western Lapland, in the middle of pure nature and large wilderness areas. Levi is the most popular and fast-growing winter sport resort in Finland. Alpine World Cup Race is arranged every November. The first snowflakes usually fall in October-November and the skiing season continues until early-May. With 43 slopes, 27 lifts and more than 200 km of cross-country trails, Levi offers the skiers the best there is. There are different types of slopes and skiing tracks that offer a possibility to enjoy skiing for both beginners and more experienced skiers. In the beginning of the season one can start with skiing on the 9 km long artificial "first snow" track, which is free of charge. The most challenging and well-assorted South Park in Finland for the snowboarders and the freestyle enthusiasts is situated in Levi. NEW Alpine Training Park for racing teams and clubs.

I guess we came at a wrong time. Only one slope is open due to the lack of snow. It was a good experience though, first time snowboarding in Europe. People are friendly.

Not very high mountains and not very long road, but for beginners very even. It happens quite cold :).

We skied here for a week in March staying at the K5 cabins. This time of the year meant it wasn't too cold but it also gave a reasonable amount of daylight. Although it was cold the air was dry so it didn't feel quite as cold as the thermometer may have shown. I would like to have seen more... More

Simply the best best when it comes to resorts in Lapland. Used to be quaint decades ago but very developed nowadays, all services within walking distance, good slopes ( taalo is the best) and constantly growing. Been here close to 30 times and will be back

This is a great place to enjoy Finnish hospitality but honestly the skiing sucks compared to almost anywhere in the Alps. The runs are all pretty similar, there is no view and almost no slope - luckily the nightlife makes up for it.

Have travelled to Levi Four season now. A great resort inside the arctic circle. That alone is worth the trip. Plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The slopes are more suited for beginners to intermediate skiers, not as much snowboarders as there's many flat bit. Having said that plenty to do for boarders like myself. Off piste is good and... As a novice I appreciated the instructors and facilities - including huts with open fires to warm up - my other half was able to stretch his legs all day once I packed up as the slopes were floodlit.
