In Manggarai you will certainly notice the impressive lingko fields. The most amazing view over a number of these fields is offered at Cara Village situated on a small hill 17km west of Ruteng in Cancar. With their round, spider-web structure, these pieces of land are unique eye-catchers in Manggarai.

These rice fields are amazingly beautiful! You walk up a small hill to see these from above, and the view is very much worth the walk! If you are fascinated by the asian rice fields, as I am, this is the place to go!

You'll pay 20,000 Riung for entry, which isn't much, but you barely feel like it's worth it. Expect to climb some steps, snap a quick picture, and leave. There's not much to stick around for. We've seen nicer rice fields (also in this 'spider formation')...More

Went there with my husband and some friends..and found a breathaking view.. This Spiderweb Rice Field is so unique and the stories behind it was full of tradition from their anchestor. Go have a visit!

Bit of excersize to get there but remember it is free to enter and do not pay anyone entrance! There will always be people sharking around to squeeze some rupia out tourists!

Hop off the bus when you travel from Labuan Bajo to Ruteng. It is a short walk from where the Guneng Mass will drop you off. The entrance is 20k. The views are beautiful and it is really worth the visit. But don't go here...More

Only one in the world rice field like this and it's only in ruteng, manggarai! 😄😄 very nice field i've ever seen before. I go to this place with my lovely and office mate from ende yesterday. And amazing! I called this spiderman field. Haha
