We visited early March so there was still a lot of snow and ice around. We were staying in Aurland and lucky enough to get the shuttle bus to the view point. The shuttle leaves once a day from Flam about midday during this time...More

It is really worth to go there if you are closed . We went there by car, but also you can reach the lookout by walk. Its around 7km hiking or try to catch stop. The view on the top is amazing!

Nature, scenic, water, mountains and sleek architecture...this is, for me, Norway. The location above the Aurland Fjord is one that provides a panoramic view and it is jaw dropping. I would recommend taking the Aurlandsfjellet road from Laerdal and coming over the mountain road. Be...More

Rented a ebike to go out the look up point. There are other operators arranging for the trip. If you are in Flam, this is a must to visit.

At the visitor centre, we paid for a minibus tour to bring us up to the Stegastein lookout. Very spectacular view of the fjord!

This lookout point features a knockout view of Aurland fjord from over 2,000 feet above the water and a cool design of the lookout structure. Nearby free parking, lots of tour coaches stop here during high season so it can be crowded at times.

There is a bus that can take you there and back for a fee. You can book online or purchase tickets at the Flåm Tourist Information Centre. If you've rented a car, you could also drive there yourself.
