It's a wonder!

We were lucky - not many people around so no queues. It is fascinating to see this strange place though I think you can see loads of other caves on the island.

The sea water from Argostoli goes through the island and comes out in the cave and carries on to the sea near Sami, the lake in the cave is brilliant clear blue water, there's eels and fish in the lake bats in the cave, you go round the lake on a small boat, the guide was very informative 😊

I was lucky enough to have the whole lake to myself! No queue & straight onto the water! One of the many benefits of visiting early season. Unfortunately it was over far too quickly!!

If you are visiting kefalonia you must go here. It's Amazing! The boat guys are so friendly and it's just breathtaking. Crystal clear water. We just drove to it as we had hired a car and it's easy to find from a map. A must must see! Don't miss it!

We went to see this cave after going to the Drogarati cave. It was worth a visit and you get a very short boat trip into the cave itself, but I'm not sure it's worth the 7 Euro each.

We stopped off here whilst driving around the island it's just a quick visit as your only in the boat for ten minutes if you can take yourself as the guided tours from the reps charge loads more

We did this little tour in early May when there were not many tourists, but I imagine the wait times in the heat of the busy season would make this less enjoyable. The boat ride on the tiny lake within an open roofed cave is short but enjoyable and very interesting. Our boatman was a very good singer. He explained... More

The cave are amazing . From the minute you walk down the tunnel and then get on the boat. The guide is full of interesting facts about the caves and it's history.. I wouls say best time to visit is between 10am and 11am when the sun is right above the cave because the colours are amazing..

We went on the lake and enjoyed it very much. Smaller than expected but very nice. Geology was very interesting. Water beautifully clear
