Very nice palace built by Raja Vinay singh. Its architecture style is mixture of Mugal and Rajasthani styles. Must see place in alwar. Museum is also part of this palace.

The city palace is away from the main city but is worth a visit if you're looking for some water sports. The food is average. Avoid this place on the weekend as it's overwhelmingly crowded.

Alwar always a surprise. Off the beaten tracks in North Rajasthan you should visit the busy downtown of Alwar. The city palace occupied by offices is not a breathtaking sight, but at its "backyard" you will find the hidden gems of the town.

The word palace brings to mind a monument of regal splendor, but sadly, this place has been allowed to run down. It must have been a beautiful palace once - the structure at least is grand. However, decades of neglect have left their mark and...More
