Visited to see the permanent exhibition of Ernst but disappointed about that there were not so many his oil paintings. Also special exhibitions of Miro was held, it would be worth for someone who loves his artworks, not me...

I had heard of Max Ernst and I had read about him but it was the first time I saw his art live. Terrific, inventive, superbe! I also enjoyed the exhibition by Jaume Plensa. I had never seen anything like this before. Absolutely a must!

I'm a huge fan of Max Ernst and the museum is definitely worth a visit. My only complaint is the number of his paintings is sparse. Aside from that, there great drawings, collages and sculptures. The museum is a short train ride from Cologne, and...More

So of course: Five Stars! Quite a range of his work here, including some work quite different from that I'd seen before, and I've seen hundreds of his pieces.

When we drove to the museum, we parked in between the Palace and train station in their parking lot. The sign a mile or so up the road said there were zero parking spots available but when we got there they had plenty. The line...More

I was put out by being forced to pay to see a Tim Burton show I was neither interested in nor rated the work sufficiently to view in the same context as Ernst. To be forced to pay was insulting!
