Fine but hearing about the deer cull a few years back put me off. Seems very hypocritical to raise money to protect birds in this very beautiful natural environment but to kill off loads of deer because of damage to trees and foliage. Cancelled my...More

Absolutely fantastic, make the effort to walk this scenic and beautiful reserve. Don't forget your goggles and the cheese scones in the cafeteria are a must.

Minsmere is an incredible place. We did two out of the three walks and saw a red deer as well as thousands of wading birds. The place is very tranquil, the walks are well marked and the hides are well maintained. We would have walked...More

Great place to go with kids and to get involved in the nature trail! We hired binoculars and explored in the forest and spotted birds from the hides.

Walked from the cost guard cottages to the RSPB site for coffee. Got charged £9 each for entering although there is no mention of any costs at the entrance beware it's not worth it.
