Very clean city with kind merchants. Walkable but don't trust drivers to stop at crosswalks. Locals very helpful with directions. Great food prices compared to Switzerland!

A border small town between Italy and Switzerland. Comparing to the Swiss prices, here you will enjoy everything, from food to household items. Historic architecture are well kept, yet some modern ones to remind the present time. It is apparently a place for weekend evening...More

People tend to just see Domodossola from the train, and think it a boring place. But venture out into the village and find the Old Town - it is a fantastic experience of well-kept medieval houses, little alleys, small cafes and gelaterias. Finish the explorations...More

This market was full of stalls, selling a huge array of things from cheese to clothes. The food stalls were amazing, cheese, hams, sausages, vegetables, all fresh / home produced. Great Atmosphere. Well worth taking the time to browse.

The city of Domodossola was a great surprise for us! We went there to do the train ride to Locarno but In the end the best part was the city, the old city (Piazza Del Mercato), and the visit to Sacro Monte Calvario.
