This is a lovely little place to either stop for a drink in the local pub or stop over at the Tiptree jam caffettiera . There are also some nice walks along the river .

A quiet place, underestimated. Nice to relax, and now even better with the Tiptree tea room. The river view is splendid, the old lock very interesting. You may be asked by the skippers to help work it.
