You could not imagine how the church was built during that rime wirh no cement but just stones and rocks. The church ruins remains still for the visitors and tourists ro witness the manifestarions of the past.

We almost missed this place, but our good muticab driver recommended that we visit this old church ruin made of dead corals. It was a simple yet stunning church ruin. Nice place for some modeling-style photo ops.

We stopped here after the Sunken Cemetery. It is just close by. It is amazing that these structures have been around for so long already. The place has a nice view of the surrounding area when on the island. A lot of great possible photo ops and the huge tree was something to behold.

Love history and the stories locals tell about the place, especially as this place was destroyed by the volcanic eruption. A great stop for a quick photo op and some chitchats with kids and other locals.

16th century church destroyed in 1871 when Vulcan Daan in Camiguin erupted. These ruins survived the eruption and one can see corals interspersed on its walls as one of its foundations.
