and almost no one else there. We took a cab (4 of us for $6 US each) from the dock at Road Bay to shoal Bay. You want Shoal bay on the northwest side of the island. 2 lounges and an umbrella for $15 US. Only about 40 people on the beach. Idyllic!

Shoal Bay beach is breathtaking. It's a sweep of white sand and clear blue turquoise water. There are beautiful boutique hotels on the beach along with many restaurants with bars and Caribbean menus.

I stayed at Cap Juluca and everyone said Maunday's Bay was the best beach on the island. I mean, it was wonderful, but I wasn't wowed. When I came to Shoal Bay, I just couldn't keep staring around. The view is truly outstanding and all the blue hues are enchanting. The beach itself is beautiful, and you can get in... More

The ocean was rough when we were there, but what a beautiful stretch of beach. There are a number of bars/restaurants/hotels along this strip. The sand is so white that it is blinding.

Stayed at Zemi beach resort. Fabulous. Beach is about a 30 minute walk round trip with white, sandy beach and lots of dining options. Not to be missed if you come to Anguilla.

Besides the costs to get Shoal Bay from St Maarten, it was the most amazing and most beautiful beach I have ever been to! White sands, crystal blue water and calms waves. It was so quiet and there weren't any merchants trying to sell you product. My tax driver took me to Hank's where I was able to get lunch... More

Really can't add much more than what's already been stated. We took a boat trip for the day from Marigot, St. Maarten, courtesy of SST Tours. We were met by a driver soon after we landed, and drove us to Shoal Bay and picked us up later that afternoon. We ate lunch at a restaurant on the beach and just... More

This beach has wonderful powdery sand and on most days it's quite calm making for delightful swimming. On the east end of the beach a reef is just a short distance off shore allowing easy but very rewarding snorkeling. This year alone we've seen a large ray, cuttlefish, trumpet fish, trunkfish and large schools of blue tangs ocean surgeonfish sergeant... More
