Miles of white sand beach

Great beach to walk, shell and relax. The parking fee is $8 and you enter driving past some amazing mansions. They do not charge after 5pm, so the sunsets are beautiful and free!

We visited multiple times during the week and had no problem feeling crowded. This is a great place for shelling, so don't even bother with Sanibel. Barefoot beach is prettier, cleaner, and far less crowded.

We spent two separate days on our trip here. Convenient location. Agree with other reviews to arrive early to get parking. There are a few covered picnic table areas that are great if you can get one. They also get scooped-up quickly but provide a great break from the sun. We did see a rat along the edge of ours... This is a very nice beach park with many things to do and see (gopher tortoises, ospreys nesting, dolphins, hiking trails, etc.). If you are a resident, a free annual pass is available with proof of property tax receipt.

Way too crowded on weekends and holidays, but when it comes to finding a great beach, it’s still the best. Forget weekends and holidays, plan ahead to arrive early, bring a beach umbrella, walk, talk, swim, play, and enjoy the best beach around!

Arguably best beach around (at least until they fix the bridges leading into Delnor-Wiggins). What else is there to say, it's a beach, good parking access and kayak rentals available. North end close to Doc's and with Collier County pas, a good bargain.

The beach is great (like all beaches in SWFL). Parking is limited though, so you need to be there early during nice days in season. For me, what makes this park special is that there's a 1 1/2 mile loop trail through the nature preserve behind the beach. Also, having the Preserve at your back creates a different feel from... Beach is located a mile and a half from Bonita beach Blvd. This means you drive though a brick road with private homes. Lovely drive to state park with a Daily charge. A small display of the local critters is crewed by volunteers , who are knowledgeable and helpful.

This beach is very nice, but not much parking, you can go through barefoot beach community and go to another beach in the back, beautiful sand, beautiful beach.
