Stay far away. This is too good for me to share.

This is the best beach in southwest Florida. Quiet. Even in season, it is not packed, although it does have limited parking at that time. Go early in the day. It also has... read more

This is the best beach in southwest Florida. Quiet. Even in season, it is not packed, although it does have limited parking at that time. Go early in the day. It also has roaming gopher tortoises. I love the little guys. You are warned to check under your vehicle when you leave. Apparently they like to go under parked cars.... More

Definitely a beautiful beach, especially when you get here early before the crowds hit. Parking is sparse but I was able to get a great spot right at the trailhead when I arrived before 10 AM. The restrooms are great to have and easily accessible from the first 2 parking areas. Warm water, shells to collect, and powdery white sand... More

Beach is long and family friendly with ample parking. If you do not have a pass it is eight dollars to park. If you are staying in Naples for an extended period you can purchase a park pass for fifty dollars at Veterans Park. It is good for all the Collier County parks and for snow birds it is worth... Loved walking along the beach at a time few others were there. So much of Naples is crowded but we lucked out in finding a great place to walk where we could see/hear the beauty of the nature in this area.

We took our cameras and tripods to Barefoot Beach and were not disappointed with the sunset view. Many people gather there for the nightly ritual. Parking is available for $2 per hour and a good option.

This is a favorite beach of mine in Naples. You reach it from Bonita Beach Road, after driving through an incredibly POSH neighborhood. But this is pure beach, beautiful white sand, amazing amounts of shells, and sitting on the beach you have nothing behind you but trees. The people who come here seem to be respectful of nature as well,.... More

Besides the white sandy beach, snack bar, and miles of spots to spread your blanket to relax, it's a great place to fish...especially in the late afternoon. I've caught many dozens of fish here, including whiting, pompano, snappers, redfish, snook and even a small shark at one of the distant locations. I usually cast my line away from the swimmers... Looking for secluded beach off the main stream and we found it. The beach is great for walking, shelling or just laying on the beach. The wildlife was all around.

Barefoot Beach has one of the whitest sand that you will find in Southwest Florida. Access to the beach is close by from the parking area. Sometimes though, during holidays, parking gets full and you may need to walk a little farther away. There are accessible showers. It is a family friendly beach with sandy beach bottom. It isn't a...
