This visitor centre is superbly located for views of Pen y Fan and provides access to the surrounding area for walks with other amazing views. The car park is charged (shouldn't be a problem for most people, the tight wads won't approve), and there is...More

We arrived late at the Visitor Centre after a busy day sightseeing. Have noted the comments from other visitors but from our point of view the Visitor Centre was fine as a café, a delightful gift shop and clean toilets. Our grandchildren enjoyed the play...More

As the title says, it was a good place to spend about 2hours going for a short walk, and having a cuppa & a slice of cake in the cafe. The car parking was reasonable, at £1 for 2 hours, and I think you’d struggle...More

We stopped by, paid for parking and went in expecting to learn about the park, the geology, the flora and fauna. Nothing like that - it’s a gift shop with some books about walks etc for sale and a map or two that you can...More

Lots of wonderful gifts & souvenirs in the gift shop. Lots of Welsh handmade items and local crafts. Prices were reasonable for such goods - I'm happy to pay more for local high-quality items. Service was fast and friendly. Good views around the area too.

We spent a few hours with a lovely stroll up to the trig point and finished off with tea and Welsh cakes. I cannot fault the restaurant- friendly service and being able to sit outside was great. The shop is also good. Good to see...More

A nice range of sandwiches, and hot meals, such as faggots, jacket potatoes and pies. Good selection of hot and cold drinks and cakes. Gets very busy at weekends and during summer holidays so can sometimes sell out unless you get there early enough.

The weather was so bad there was little to see when visited here. Not a preferable national park among all I've visited.

Plenty of information at this centre including gift shop selling Welsh items. Enjoyed coffee & cake sitting outside admiring the beautiful mountain views and watching lambs in the field beyond. Would love to go in the evening as this centre as it is designated as...More

Hello, Thank you for your message. We offer some amazing walks directly from the centre and you can park here easily. On a clearer day you could walk to the trig point on the common which takes about 2 hours. Pop into the... More
