We were a little disappointed that we couldn't see more of the house. There was an interesting exhibition and there are gardens if you are interested. There was a lot of activities for children but this was very dependent upon the weather.

Yes in places, especially close to the house on the terrace. We spotted a few seats near the lake and the waterfall. There are places to eat and drink and you can take a picnic also. Hope this helps
