We have been on many safaris and cannot count how many guides we have had, but no one nearly as knowledgeable as Bruno. It is a special experience to walk with him. Mundulea is a place for nature lovers. The hides in front of one's tents allow one to get very close to the game. Accommodation in tents is suitably... More

This is no ordinary nature reserve and no ordinary wildlife experience. Walking in the bush with the animals is a completely different way of experiencing Africa. There are no 'guaranteed' sightings here, though there are some wonderful, rare species that might be seen. Wild means wild and the experience is more than just trying to tick off sightings. You will... More

Words just don't describe the sounds, sights and smells of this part of Africa. It is a must to see. For a real experience it's worth waiting by the waterholes at Dusk to see how it all enfolds

We went for a genuinely different walking and nature experience and were not disappointed. The accommodation is basic (no electricity but uses solar power where possible) but very good and the location/situation about as remote as you could desire. The guided walking is second to none and the owner Bruno Nebe's knowledge of nature, wildlife, the environment and Namibia generally... More

Mundulea is a private nature reserve, adjacent to the Otavi Mountains, comprising about 120 sq kms of Kartsveld. Prior to the present ownership, the reserve comprised 5 over-grazed farms which have now been amalgamated in order to painstakingly restore the fauna and flora to their original, pre-grazed condition. One of the joys of staying at the small bush camp, nestled... More

Mundulea is a private reserve some 100 km south of (but not in) Etosha (and thus outside the malarial area) nature reserve. It is the inspiration of its owner, Bruno, who is seeking to return an area of 120 Sq Kilometres to its original, natural state. It differs from other Reserves in that you sign up for a package that... More

All of the campsites in Etosha Park were very well laid out and the washrooms were well stocked and clean.

Mundulea Nature Reserve is absolutly magnificent. The colors, the rythms all give a splendid feeling of tranquility. It should be noted that animals can be seen only with a little of luck and often at a distance! O love it

I have traveled all over the world and our visit with Bruno at Mundulea Nature Reserve is one of my top travel/life experiences. He is brilliant, kind, engaging and a fabulous cook! The accommodations are so beautiful and fit the environment in a way that honors Bruno's vision of ecological balance. I only wish, in my lifetime, I can return.
