Tasmania's first 100% off grid winery. Visit our cellar door in the Tamar Valley. Our vines are tended by hand to produce delicious wines. Enjoy tasting Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Caberner Merlot, chat about cool climate wines. While we don't have a restaurant we offer tasting plates that showcase Tasmanian produce. Relax on the verandah with a glass of wine.

We stopped by Moores Hill Winery and had a wine tasting at their cellar door. The wines were fresh often dry with a hint of a fruity palliative taste. Again the sales personnel was very obliging and knowledgeable when it comes to explain the wines....More

This is fabulous, the area, the winery, the wine the food and the service. If you get the opportunity to book a group visit with 12 or more, take the time to visit, eat some food, drink some wine, and buy some wine

Wine tasting, cheese platter and a very tasty Pinot Noir on a crisp, sunny winter afternoon. Picturesque location sitting on deck overlooking vines and to the mountains. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

A small winery with a small tasting area which serves small plates of good standard food. These are at reasonable prices and the view is relaxing, the staff were welcoming and friendly

We stumbled across Moores Hill, while exploring the Tamar district. The manager was extremely helpful and friendly, wine-tasting a great experience but the lunch platter, while generous, was not particularly interesting.

Very pleasant spot for some wine tasting and a meal. The view over the vineyards from the balcony on a sunny day is nice. Wine tasting was good, particularly liked the reisling and Pinot Gris. Slightly drier then normal but lovely balance in the wines....More

We drove the 30 mins from Launceston to visit this winery based on them doing Oysters over Easter. The oysters were superb, and the charcuterie plate enjoyed by all. Very pleasant sitting outdoors at the vineyard enjoying a Pinot Gris overlooking the estate. Would definitely...More
