The Golden Gate National Park is a must visit in the Drakenberg area. Here you can see the Gladstone Sandstone formations and the rolling highlands of the area. Lots of animals to see and pleasant hikes to enjoy.

Never in my life have I felt so small. The views are just breathtakingly beautiful. One cannot understand such magnificancy. Just drive very slowly, because there are a lot of bends in the road. Just sit back en enjoy the peaceful views.

Absolutely stunning, the park is needing some serious maintenance in terms of lots of potholes, stunning to see all the plains game around, the views are amazing and well worth a trip through it.

The natural beauty is breathtaking. Roads could certainly do with some repair.Chalets are set in a perfect spot to enjoy the Sentinel rock and having it lit up at night provides a lovely view.

There is no proper gate entry as it's on a public road, so you can drive through the park at any time. However, if you want to hike or picnic the San Parks Office is open Monday to Sunday.
