The fort was preserved in a very good way and we enjoyed the sun room and took a lot of pictures. We also saw the spring that is just nearby the fort and we enjoyed apricot drink up there as well. Cool Place to go.
It's small, cold, a little dusty, and I imagine kind of smokey in the winter when people had to cook indoors and live in the kitchen. Makes me feel pretty good about my first NYC apartment.
