So many things to do and see. If you're a teacher, ask the Council to see the Shell Grotto with your class. Magical

Pontypool Park appeals to all ages whether a leisurely stroll or accessing the park area with young children. The area is well kept with a Shell grotto ( only open certain times } It also incorporates Pontypool museum which is worth visiting . The artificial ski slope is housed there also. Worth visiting .....

A real park, set in woodlands, lots to see and do. The shell grotto is closed most of the year but open around Easter time. Fantastic park.

Learnt to ski here on the dry slope before going to Bulgaria skiing. Helped out a lot. Great walks too, used to go swimming and to the play area when I was younger. Now when we go its to play football or have a stroll

Great walks throughout. Borders the Brecon Beacons national park. The park offers access to the Shell Grotto and Folly, both of which which offer great views towards the Bristol Channel and Forest of Dean.

This is definitely a place for all to enjoy. The park has beautiful grounds which incorporates many activities....from walking the dogs with ample benches to stop and enjoy the views, wildlife ponds, ancient deciduous trees (especially good in conker season!), many walks and pathways to explore through the trees, up through the woodland to the standing stones or shell grotto...
