Ate here in the evening whilst meeting a friend. The meal was very well cooked and very tasty. The choice of their own beer was wide and it is very good beer. Loved whole ambience of place with its cosy natural fire well stoked throughout...More

Had dinner as a family. The XXX pale ale, brewed on site, is sensational. Kids food was healthy and delicious and good value (grilled chicken and chips, peas and sweet corn; fish and chips, peas and sweet corn), starter of smoked haddock brûlée with toast...More

Don't confuse this with the pub next door. If you are a real ale lover then I can't recommend this brewery tour enough. Steve and Russel gave us plenty of insight into the craft involved in producing the beer. It was great fun and a...More

Ate here last night after a lengthy walk. Service was great and very friendly. Food was excellent - modestly priced and a cut above standard pub grub. Good buzz and atmosphere and cracking beer.

Staying in the town for 2 nights we decided on the 3 find for our pre bike ride night out. The food was lovely and wide selection of beers brewed by themselves really added to the evening. Keep walking through the first very small bar...More
