Not the best organised display, but birds very well cared for and the hosts very clued up. Nice touch getting to handle the birds whilst chatting.

My little girl does like this place but we just can't help but feel a bit sad for the birds. It looks a bit like a prison and some of the bigger birds are showing signs of distress. Not having a card machine isn't very...More

Lovely selection of birds and other mammals to look at. Great interesting flying display with lots of different birds. Very enjoyable and reasonably inexpensive too.

I was brought here by my wife today against my better judgement. I hate to see animals and birds caged up. I would rather watch TV programmes about them in their natural habitat. The only pleasing thing was the hens following us looking for food....More

We visited the Owl Centre as part of our visit to the museum and both were great but the Owl Centre was most memorable. The birds are such characters we could not stop either oooing, arring or laughing all the way round, so much so...More

Hi, I think the opening times are 10am until 4pm, but it does tell you on the website. If you have children with you there is a nice children's play area next to the car park and a local History Museum.
