This cave is on the way to get to the Cat Ba National Park. It is a cave nearly on the top of the mountain. Nothing special here so this is not a must visit place

It's amazing what people can do when you consider these caves housed a whole population during times of conflict. Amazing what was made by human need and ingenuity. So pleased Vietnam has had 50 years of being it's own country.

Although the history of the place is interesting, there are no interpretation boards in the place. All the rooms except for the first one are empty, so it is a self guided tour around empty concrete rooms.

A few concrete bunkers leaking water with some sad. Dummies. Skip it and do the cave with the park admission

Nothing to see. Just a cave with a cement infrastructure of empty rooms. Huge waste of time and money. My claustrophobic mother wasn't able to enter and they didn't even have the decency to refund her. Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I like it a lot. You can see wjat they built inside a cave during the war to protect themselves from bombs. very particular. I'd suggest to do both national park and cave.

It is a nice visit to see how they protected themselves in from the bombings. Impressive. We got the guide and we were glad otherwise it would be walking around looking at empty rooms and not knowing what they were used for. There is a...More

This was such a cool spot to visit. We parked our scooter and got our ticket at a little spot across the street from the entrance way. Once we walked in, there was nobody else there at all, no staff and no tourists. It was...More

I booked my cruise on the island itself. Resorts have cruise details Paloma Cruises was one company.
