This is one of the oldest churches in Tiradentes. It dates from the 18th century and its history is a bit different from the other churches found in this historic town. As all the other churches, this one was also built by black slaves, but...More

Beautiful history, but unfortunately the church is not renovated... Rated average because there is a symbolic payment of R$3,00 per adult only.

We were greeted by a friendly dog. The interior is well preserved, with original hardwood floors. The painted ceilings are beautiful.

The history of the construction of this church is amazing - that's where "lavar a égua" local expression comes from. Find out why by yourself. The church is beautiful. A MUST see.

Its a very beautiful and quiet church. Better ask a guide to speak of the interesting tales about this church and its archtecture. Do not miss it. If u like taking pics walk around the place and one can find great spots.

This smallish church stands out both for its particular architecture, it's very interesting interior and it's history, as it was built in the off hours by local mine slaves that sneaked gold under their nails, etc to decorate its interior. I would suggest it as...More
